The Tinnitus BookThats the latest tweet from Mark, author of The Tinnitus Book. I have a mild ringing in my ears all the time – so I can totally sympathise with the real sufferers!

Mark tells me he wrote the book himself – the result of being afflicted with tinnitus and making the best of a bad situation. His book sells via ClickBank so it’s a safe, secure transaction for those who wish to buy.

I may be a little hasty prodding around on the site as their are many sections which are incomplete but it promises to be a useful source of information with articles, letters and a forum.

While the Police scour the Helensville district for the killer white ute that seems to have targetted Dr Robinson and run him off the road with fatal consequences it seems time that the community embraced some of the “Big Brother” measures that could make our communities safer without creating civil liberty type problems.

One of our petrol station “brands” recently proposed scanning all vehicle registrations and comparing to a hot list when they pulled up the pumps. If you weren’t registered or had outstanding fines, sorry, no petrol. After all, supplying petrol could be seen as aiding and abetting. That alone makes the investment in the technology worthwhile.

Lets take this one step further.

With great amusement I noted that Digitalpoint have upgraded their forum and turned on the social networking side of vBulletin and I had a swag of “friend requests” waiting for me.

It reminded me of an incident this week when I recieved a Facebook friend request from someone who was instrumental in an accusation of professional misconduct directed toward me last year. After the guys at Computer Forensics had done their job they they had also shown who was in the wrong.

Now why, oh why, would this chap suddenly want to be “my friend”. We don’t talk, meet face to face or have business dealings? I can think of only two reasons.

Here’s a new little twist to the old Click Fraud drama that the Adsense team spend their days combatting.

Nishant introduces himself over at DigitalPoint as a manager for HP Technical Support. He later tells me privately that he’s cooked up a scheme where he and his team will click my Adsense Ads during remote access support sessions on their client’s computers.

So what does this mean?

My days of being hugely interested in pregnancy are long over – nowadays you’ll find me offering congratulations, remembering warmly but being grateful that those days are over.

So, it was interesting to review “Best Pregnancy Tips“. The site is amazingly well stocked with a variety of articles, appropriate images and it passes the copyscape test. The articles I read appeared to be focussed on the layman reader and reasonably accurate.
