I’ve been wanting to have a play with AJAX for ages and had book marked Rasmus’ 30 second AJAX Tutorial so tonight I took 30 seconds, which turned into 30 minutes and had a play.

I’ve extended his example slightly – to include a javascript fix and to make it a bit more browser safe – because I have Opera 7 as my test browser and it doesn’t work, but does for Opera 8 (apparantly).

Way back when web pages were all static and javascript was cool I had a play with site submission software tools and found a forum to discuss the relative merits. It was the first time I’d come across the phrase Search Engine Optimisation or SEO and once I had the magic password a wealth of information appeared before me.

Title Tags are hugely important from an SEO perspective because Search Engines use them to identify the major focus of the page.

They are, however, frequently overlooked when coding up new modules as they can be hard to integrate with modularised headers.
